1 February – 14 February 2026 | $6990

Leaving the lush, mountainous shores of Dominica behind, the yacht glides north toward Marie-Galante, a serene island known for its rolling sugarcane fields and pristine beaches. Anchoring near Grand-Bourg, the island’s peaceful atmosphere invites exploration, whether it’s visiting a historic rum distillery or strolling along secluded white-sand shores. A short sail away, Les Saintes emerges like a postcard-perfect paradise, with its charming red-roofed villages and turquoise bays. Dropping anchor in the idyllic Bourg des Saintes, visitors can wander through quaint streets, savoring French-Caribbean cuisine and enjoying panoramic views from Fort Napoléon.

From Les Saintes, the voyage continues northward, with Antigua’s sun-drenched coastline appearing on the horizon. The trade winds provide ideal sailing conditions, making for a thrilling open-water passage. Approaching the island, the yacht enters the historic English Harbour, where Nelson’s Dockyard stands as a testament to Antigua’s rich maritime heritage. Whether relaxing on one of the island’s 365 beaches, snorkeling in crystal-clear waters, or experiencing the lively Caribbean nightlife, Antigua offers the perfect finale to an unforgettable sailing journey. The blend of adventure, culture, and natural beauty along this route makes it a dream voyage for any sailor or traveler seeking the best of the Caribbean.

All meals on board Sea Dragon during this trip are delicious and vegetarian, with the addition of fish if we catch any along the way.

Tentative Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Portsmouth, Dominica

Day 2: Boat/safety briefings
We’ll spend the day going through boat/safety briefings, getting well orientated with Sea Dragon.

Days 3-10: Set Sail
We’ll head off north towards our first destination of Marie Galante, where we’ll anchor overnight and spend the next day exploring the beaches and snorkelling. From Marie Galante we’ll sail west to Les Saintes, a small collection of 9 islands, of which only 2 are inhabited. We’ll be able to visit Fort Napoleon and botanical gardens and take the dinghy to explore the uninhabited islands, for a true remote experience. Moving up the west coast of Guadalupe, we’ll explore Bouillante, a large anchorage with a thermal bath from volcanic steam. There are 5 geothermal springs within the Bouillante area, so take your pick!

Days 11-12: Ahoy Antigua!
Having said goodbye to Guadaloupe, we’ll head north on a longer passage to Antigua, arriving into the famous Nelson’s Dockyard. It is the only Georgian working dockyard in the world, and was built by the British Navy in 1700s. Here you’ll find museums, restaurants and be able to walk the quaint streets of this historic location.
