Pangaea is looking for volunteer deckhands/media managers for our 2018 Pacific Trip.
Prior sailing experience is a major plus, good attitude, willingness to work hard and learn is a must.
You’ll be leading a watch, teaching guests, assisting researchers, helping Shanley & Eric in all aspects of yacht maintenance and operations, and producing and curating social media content – video, images, and blogs.
This is a volunteer role, but we will pay for transportation to and from the boat as well as a small stipend towards on-shore expenses while you are aboard.
We’re accepting applicants for the following time periods:
February 8 – April 8: x1 Deckhand, Grenada to Hawaii via Mexico
March 16 – June 12: x2 Deckhands, Mexico to Hawaii via Kiribati
April 16 – July 30: x1 Female Deckhand, Hawaii to Vancouver via Kiribati
