Join the crew of Sea Dragon for a visit to fabulous Guadeloupe, for a hike up the Deshaies river to a pristine waterfall and snorkel and dive at Pigeon Island, home to the Jacques Cousteau underwater reserve. Then it’s off to the luscious island of Dominica where we can go up the Indian River and see where the Pirates of the Caribbean was filmed or even hike to the only boiling lake in the world. After stretching our legs it’s off to Grenada, the spice island, with monkeys and waterfalls galore.

Eric Loss – Skipper

Eric has been sailing competitively since his time as a young mariner and in 2011 he sailed around the world single-handed, and told his story in Loss at Sea.

Eric has been Captain on board Sea Dragon since January 2013 and he loves to facilitate the understanding of and connection to the sea for all of those who come on board.

Shanley McEntee – First Mate

Shanley has been all over the world and covered over 40,000 miles on all different types of sailing yachts and loves to do everything from scuba diving to surfing to swimming.

With a degree in Environmental Policy and Marine Science, Shanley continues to explore the world and the different issues mother earth faces. She’s full time with Sea Dragon as First Mate since January of 2013.

Cath Hough – Deckhand

Cath is a passionate, energetic, knowledgeable and skilled sailor with over ten years’ experience working in the Marine industry. Growing up on the Isle of Wight, England, UK; she was immersed into a sailing culture from an early age and has thoroughly embraced and enjoyed a life on and around the sea!

Over the years her passion for Watersports has grown and Cath has worked around the world, including Europe, Dubai and China. She has recently moved back to the UK to run sailing camps for children.

Outside of work Cath is a keen racer, and also enjoys Yacht cruising, photography and media. Having always had an interest in the Marine Environment and never had the chance to explore it deeper, She joins Sea Dragon to gain a better understanding of marine research, improve her offshore sailing and gain further skills in navigation and handling a larger sailing vessel.

Day1: Crew arrive in Antigua and board Sea Dragon in Falmouth Harbor in the afternoon. Time to get settled on board and receive crew briefing that evening.
Day2: After morning safety briefing, we’ll have a short introduction sail and then have time in the afternoon for snorkeling, beach going, or hiking.
Day 3: Crew set sail to Deshaies, Guadeloupe
Day 4: Day onshore Deshaies, hike up the river to a waterfall or just explore town and get some of the best homemade ice cream around.
Day5: Sail to Pidgeon Island, snorkel and swim to find Jacques Cousteau’s underwater statue, anchor for the night.
Day6: Sail to Portsmouth, Dominica
Day 7: Explore Dominica, boat ride up Indian River
Day 8: Depart Dominica for Grenada
Day 9: Arrive in Grenada in the evening
Day 10: Explore Grenada – visit the monkeys, jump off a waterfall!
Day 11: Morning packing and crew depart Sea Dragon by 11am.

– Transportation to Antigua and from St. Lucia
