Where We Are And Where We Are Going And Where We’re Sampling

Sea Dragon is making great headway, leaving St Helena in her wake.  The team must sail due south for several days to reposition themselves for the east to west transect through the South Atlantic Gyre.  First they will bisect their previous transect in the center of the main South Atlantic accumulation zone.  From there they will continue heading west to investigate a suspected localized accumulation zone in the west.  Then, at the beginning of February, its the home straight to their arrival port of Punta del Este, Uruguay.
