By ensuring you adhere to this code, you will safeguard your life and the lives of others. Each year there are over 359,000 drowning deaths throughout the world. This alarming figure highlights just how frequent maritime accidents are. The infographic also features some of the worst maritime disasters in history. As a result of each of these calamities, many maritime laws were updated.
