Join the crew of Sea Dragon for a ripping fast downwind sail to Panama. We’ll have days and nights of fast Tradewind surfing, and big seas before arriving at the Atlantic terminus of the Panama Canal, Colon. You’ll learn basics of sail trim, safe downwind sail handling in strong wind, and helming techniques in waves, as well as basics of navigation and seamanship.

With a degree in Environmental Policy and Marine Science, Shanley continues to explore the world and the different issues mother earth faces. She’s full-time with Sea Dragon as First Mate since January of 2013.
February 9: Crew join Sea Dragon in Prickly Bay, Grenada, at 1600 – swimming, dinner, safety briefings, intros, move in
February 10: Depart for Panama
February 11-15: Underway to Panama
February 16: Arrive Shelter Bay, Panama, clear customs, and Immigration, maybe go for a swim in the pool?
December 17: Crew can depart by 0900
